This site is essentially a gravel and grassed parking lot in town surrounded by hedges/small trees with sometimes noisy streets on three sides.
That said its a great place for a night before leaving or after arriving on the ferry. The shower and toilet facilities were the best we'd seen, very clean and even heated when we were there. Kitchen area functional and clean. Friendly accommodating owner/manager.

A pleasant site with lots of animals, great for kids, males/females had to share shower block as actual ladies facilities were locked up for winter - not ideal.
Lots of ducks but didn't come across the duck poo mentioned in a previous review. Not sure why showers were 50 cents a go for five minutes when every other park we stayed in included that benefit in site charges. Was offered change when checking in. A few bugs due to rural sylvan setting but wouldn't be put off visiting this 'quality' site especially with kids.

Shower room very clean.
Some long termers here but no dodgy feeling. Underneath final approach to the light aerodrome next door but that enhances the site as fun to watch them fly overhead. No night flying! Superb beach access so gets an 8!
Cheers Nick, Thanks for taking the time to review us. We appreciate it.

Friendly office staff and convenient shop though we didn't use it.
Pleasant, spacious level site close to the beach with mature trees, though generator or similar noise running all night was a slight inconvenience. Some long termers here. Daughter said park had a 'dodgy' feel to it and wouldn't go to shower unescorted. Sign in the showers says run the washbasin to hot first if you want to avoid a cold shower. Dated though adequate shower facilities. Park is convenient for the airport and city.
