Great location - easy 15 minute walk to Whale Watching tour boats, and across the road from Hislop's Cafe ( which was FANTASTIC!).
Kids loved the jumping pillow and the original, crazy, ninja light game - that kept them amused for hours! Camp kitchen was adequate and very clean. The only downsides for us were the unheated, draughty bathrooms and time-limited showers, as well as the proximity to the train line. Don't be fooled by the giant, thick hedge - there is a train line only 5 metres behind it and those trains are very loud when they go past in the night! Overall very happy with it, I just would request away from the train and not take a shower on cold days next time!!!

Fantastic park!
Lovely sloping tree-filled park with all sites offering picturesque views of Lake Wanaka and Mt. Aspiring. Staff were exceptionally warm, helpful and friendly. This was my favourite holiday park in all of the South Island for many reasons, not just because it is in Wanaka! The bathrooms are the warmest, steamiest, cosiest bathrooms you will ever experience due to generous, hot showers (no additional charge), free hot tubs/spa and sauna, free wifi, heated out door BBQ area. The small playground and trampoline was not as impressive to my kids as jumping pillows, heated pools, or the electric ninja game at the Kaikoura holiday park but hey, we're here for the nature, right?! The camp kitchen feels more like an open-plan family room with couches, TV, and computers. The electric stove is quite old, and the hot plates are uneven but everything works and the free, fresh herbs from the garden outside are a lovely touch! We would absolutely stay here again!

As our first pit-stop after collecting our motor home we were very impressed by the drive-thru motorhome check-in!
The staff were very helpful and friendly. Bathrooms were modern and very warm, not at all draughty like some. Generous camp kitchen. Highlight was the pool! Very warm and the kids loved the slide! They didn't want to leave! I think the price is very reasonable considering all the amenities, and they let us have a free late check out which was much appreciated!
