Didn't see anyone.
It was off season and payment was an honesty box. Only one bathroom/shower opened and the kitchen, both clean.

Great scenery, with falls and the sea.
Killer sunrise. Watch out for the flies and the seals. No toilets.

Great scenery.
Toilets were clean (winter, not many campers) which are the main advantage against Papaora Point nearby.

Colorful owners, great amenities.
Location is nothing special though, close to a road that gets noisy starting 5/6am.
Wifi password is the same for everyone so don't pay 2$ per device and signal is weak except near the office.

Not very clean but usable bathroom with only one toilet & shower, limited hot water.
Many permanent residents.
15$ 2pp powered. Still the cheapest option around Wanaka I think.

Two hot showers in a DOC campground!
Toilets are not the cleanest, many stoves in the kitchen. One of the busiest campground in our end-of-winter three weeks trip (lots of Germans for whatever reason), everyone friendly. A bit of driving to get there.
Did the (a bit scary at first) night walk but didn't see any kiwis, learned after they are afraid of regular flashlights, oh well.

Lovely campervan park, really well laid out, many attention to details.
Great showers (except the curtains I would say).
Laid back owners. They told us it's very crowded in the summer so book it.
It was perfect after the hard (but rewarding) costal drive from Coromandel.
