Busy site in the centre of Wellington.
Can be very noises as you are parked just off the main road. Perfect for walking into the city with all shops, bars and restaurants close by. 10 minute walk to Te Papa museum. $50 a night for two people in a powered site.

Great free site a short drive from Taupo.
We found it very busy in mid February. Only a few feet from the lake so great for fishing/swimming/walking.

I agree with a previous review, the best site we stayed at throughout our month long North Island trip.
Very friendly and helpful owners who run a very clean and well presented site. Thermal pools are great and definitely worth a visit. Very well equipped kitchen with GAS cooking, a very welcome change to other sites! We were going to stay in Whangamata but decided to stay here instead, I would highly recommend!
Thank you for your wonderful recommendation and we are glad you enjoyed your stay with us.

Perfect free camping site right on the beach front.
Beautiful walks, I imagine it could be very exposed in poor weather. Perfect good weather free campsite!

Very friendly site, the staff are only too happy to help.
Probably the best park we stayed at during our month in the North Island. $42 per night for a powered site for two adults, all facilities excellent, the cleanest I have seen on our travels. Just a short drive out of Rotorua itself and no sulphur smells! You can hear the planes during the day but lovely and quiet at night.

Busy campsite on the shores of Hawke's Bay.
Lots of permanent residents. Toilets, showers and kitchen area not very clean. Lots of locals take their quads down onto the beach right in front of the campervans so the site is not so quiet. Alright for a one night stay but I wouldn't stay longer.

Lovely family-friendly campsite.
Stayed for one night in our motorhome, great laundry, great cooking facilities, great toilet/showers. Lots of kiwis here for the weekend with boats etc, boat park also. Worth stopping off at, we also had a look around nearby Warkworth the following day, a quiet town with lovely shops.

Lovely little campsite with friendly owners.
We stayed for two nights in our campervan on a grass pitch with electricity, water and a nice wooden table and chairs.
Owners were extremely helpful in suggesting things to see and do around Whangarei. We visited the Whangarei Falls which are very close, in walking distance as well. The Abbey Caves are a short drive away. I would recommend staying here, the facilities are clean and tidy.
