What a heavenly spot!
Very peaceful, full of bird song. Delightful facilities. Beautiful place and walks direct from the site. Excellent eco facilities and charming owner. It was our last proper night in NZ, and the perfect end to our trip. Loved it!

Ideal for Doubtful Sound cruise (short walk to where the boats leave). Friendly. Good wifi in the lounge. Thank you!

Lovely campsite, with gorgeous walks to the beautiful beaches.
Baby seals playing in a pool added to the joy of being there. Site had good facilities, and was lovely and peaceful.

Our first experience of a "posh" campsite.
What luxury! And soooo clean. Loved it. Sunset on the beach was fab. Very friendly and welcoming people.

Amazing - city centre overnight stop, so you can go see museums, eat out, and roll home to campervan comfort.
Hot showers were fine. Close to the ferry. Some people fret about noise - but hey. that is city centre for you, and this place is great for being in the heart of it.

It wasn't windy the night we were there, lovely walks, good swimming. Loos fine.

Lovely almost new van, with great facilities (on a chilly morning really appreciated the central heating!).
Very easy to drive. We had a couple of small problems (our fault!) and phone backup was excellent on both occasions. Got us back up and running in no time. The van also came with really brilliant guides - NZ Frenzy Guides gave us wonderful places to visit. The road atlas was excellent. Also a book of lovely freedom camping sites. And last but not least, the download Rankers App was invaluable.

Loved this place....
beautiful site on the water, with sunset and sunrise to die for. Lots of wonderful birds to watch - kingfisher very obliging. But the real treat was wandering through the woods for several hours in the middle of the night and seeing a kiwi. Amazing! Great place, great people, doing some good work, and the kiwi was awesome!
