Nice, clean, peaceful holiday park with the added bonus of 3 hot spring pools.
The park is set within the bush so you can go for a walk or run. A river runs through the park. The park has free wifi and decent shower and toilet blocks with a communal kitchen and laundry, although the washing machines are quite dated. Would definitely stay here again.

Very friendly owner.
Lovely campsite right by the Pacific Ocean and a stones throw from the longest wharf in the Southern Hemisphere! The facilities seem to have been updated since the previous reviews were written: there are old shower and toilet blocks which have been closed down and the new ones are nice with good hot showers.

6km from the skiing area, loads of amazing walks on the doorstep.
The best and cleanest shower and bathroom facilities I have ever seen at a campsite. Very helpful staff.

TECT Park – Freedom Camping Site

Isolated spot for freedom camping.
A stone's throw from the highway. There is a toilet block but no showers. About a 20 minute drive from Rotorua. Nice and peaceful. Would stay again if using a motorhome near Rotorua.
