A 7 because it is a nice free spot with toilet which was rather clean.
It was full, even in August with more than 10 campers. The harbor workers were unloading a vessel the whole night and that makes noise, but you can switch it off in your mind.

Our first 10 becomes this Top 10 Holiday Park.
Because of its friendly welcome, heated modern kitchen and clean toilets and most of all the very warm shower.
Internet was good, $5.00 extra for 24 hours and 10GB. We paid $40.00 for a powered place.

Excellent place to stay.
We slept one night with a campervan on the grass opposite the dump place. One other campervan was there. The toilet was newly painted and very clean. No problems. We heard one train in the night, no further noise. Recommended!

Top place!
All the reviews are right! Love it, even in winter time, with rain too!

In winter a good place to stay.
Clean, friendly staff. Noise of train or road no problem.

A bit cold this winter, but a fine site.
Quiet in the night, hardly no traffic. Toilet was clean. We were alone and stayed one night after a satisfying Maruia hotpool.

We missed the spot and found an even nicer small place where it's permitted to camp with self contained vans.
Just drive about 800 m up the road north. At the end there is a nice place for one or two campervans.

The best shower and toilet facilities we saw this holiday in winter.
Campsite is close to the Village, so if you want to go out eating, just walk out of the entrance of the holiday park.
Our communal bathrooms are a favourite with all of our guests!! We glad you enjoyed your time here and thanks for placing feedback.
