Couldn't find the campsite.
Still a toilet in the woods which we assumed to be the spot. A lot of cars arrived in the evening. Good for a short, free nightover. No water, maybe from the steam.

Quite expensive for what you get.
An empty kitchen and bad WiFi. Still good hot showers and a nice bay around.

Lovely spot.
Windy, but some spots pretty well sheltered from the wind. It was quite full when we were there but it was on a holiday weekend. Still plenty of room. Nice walk to the lighthouse at low tide. Good facilities for a DOC campsite. No shower when we were there.

Nice kitchen, one shower was good, the other one didn't have a enough pressure.
WiFi costs $4(?) per 24h. $16$ per person in low season.

It was raining cats and dogs that night.
Beautiful spot, a wind shelter and a lot of sandflies. Drop toilets and water from tap but has to be filtered. BBQ opportunities.

Clean bathrooms, just a small BBQ area, no real kitchen.
But friendly owner and free washing machine. Shower $1 for 7 minutes. Not the best place for a tent as it is close to the highway. All in all not worth the money.
Hi, the BBQ is covered and you can cook anything from a stirfry to a roast. Its under cover and very clean. There's a table and sink for your convenience also. Cant help about the tent site - the camp is on the state highway. The nights are quiet with great star gazing and your site is usually large. Thanks for your comments.
