A nice hike up to a waterfall.
You have to hike up 130m before you get there, but it won't take more than 30 minutes. The waterfall was nice.

A campsite down by the river and it was for free.
Toilet smelled. You could make a fire there and eat free fruit from the trees. It was pretty crowded with young people but fine and for free!

Campervan is in good condition with gas, microwave, sink, waste water tank, not self-contained.
Handling is tops, even with wind - despite height of camper (3M). Full cooking equipment onboard. Perhaps a bit too small for 4 people but perfect for 3 people.

It was a camping ground run by the local community.
It had a toilet and a sink for dishes. No running water though. A little hard to get there since the streets were not in great shape. Good for a night or two.

We did a 40 minute 'Mountain Scenic Spectacular!' flight and it was amazing.
We enjoyed every minute of it. It was beautiful to see Franz Josef and Fox Glacier from above. Did a snow landing in front of Mt Cook. Priceless!

It was a nice and easy walk to Lake Sylvan.
You had to go through the forest before you got to the lake. We had nice weather and the lookout was beautiful. Was recommended by a friend.

A really, really friendly lady helped us with all our questions and gave us some possibilities for a 1/2 to 1 day hiking tours.
My friend booked in for a skydive right away. Great service.

I did two rides in one day.
I am an experienced rider. My first ride was along the Dart River up to Mt Albert with some river crossings. The second one was up at Paradise. Staff and horses are really good. Horses can be used for beginners as well.

The first girl could not really help us.
We asked her what we could do at the Abel Tasman, what she could recommend. She did not really know what to say. We tried it at another lady and she was great!

A beautiful but exhausting walk with an amazing view over the mountains and Lake Wanaka.
bring enough water and food for the whole track (especially recommended on a hot and sunny day).

It was pretty late and we did not know where else to go.
$57 for a powered site and three people. The bathroom was fine and it had a kitchen and TV room - also fine.

It was a little hard getting there with a campervan since 30km of it was unsealed road with a lot of holes and fords.
The walk itself was really beautiful and doable, even if you are not the fittest person.

I hired a full suspension bike from Vertigo in Queenstown and cycled the Moonlight track which is a track for advanced cyclists but in a very nice valley near Queenstown.
