Fantastic experience.
Unique atmosphere to discover the forest. Good guide with deep knowledge of the Maori Culture. Would appreciate a bit more time in the forest at night for discovering more 'off track' things.

Long and steady climb, lots of stairs, but unprecise signs near the summit.
Great view from the top, and the icy crater was really amazing. The i-Site parking is a nice place to stay.

Did the Haggas Honking Holes in a very small group.
We did a lot of things in a few hours. We did rock climbing, but only because we were only four. Good guide, fun and experience. We were not allowed to take photos, only those from the guide could be purchased, and they were not so great. Even with a small group it was a bit fast and touristic.

Great circuit to discover the volcanoes with all fumeroles.
Doable in two days if you are an experienced hiker. Last part is long and boring. Too many people on the Alpine Crossing section, impossible to take a picture without someone on it.
