UNHAPPY CAMPERS.

The campervan we rented for 12 days, according to the mechanic fixing it, didnt look like its been serviced properly which confirmed our suspicion.

First the car didnt start due to what we thought was a flat battery. Called Happy Campers, were told to replace battery.

So 1 day pretty much gone.

One day later we're driving to Wanaka and the car breakes down in the middle of a roundabout (while driving!).

Called happy campers, spoke to an extremely unhelpful and not understanding person telling us that he would call the AA and give us a call back.

After one hour waiting we were able to find someone to borrow us his phone, called the AA ourselves, which told us that NOONE has called the AA for us.

So we done it ourselves and were stuck in Wanaka for 2 days due to a non existent fan belt.

So in total we lost 3 days which stuffed up all our plans for the holiday and we pretty much had to drive straight to Christchurch, not seeing anything or stopping anywhere to make it back to Christchurch on time.

When we dropped the Van the extremely RUDE manager named Kevin was trying to send us off with 100 bucks.

It says specifically in the contract that we get refunded for all the time we lost as long as it is more that 48 hours in one spot.

In the end after a lot of arguing we were granted our 2 days of rightful refund.

No one can give us the messed up holiday back though and I would highly recommend to anyone to NOT BOOK WITH THIS COMPANY.

They have done nothing for us in this situation and the way they treated us was absolutely unacceptable and out of line.

Great staff, the way the place is made is amazing, great for kids and adults.

Make sure you feed the eels, its great fun :)

views are the best ever and the luge is great fun, especially when you're racing in a bigger group.

Pretty expensive though
