Stayed here while doing some seasonal work.
Only cost $110 for 2 in a van. Good facilities, although you have to pay for a shower. Would benefit with a deep clean. Owners were awesome and really helpful. The pub (The Junction) at the end of the road does excellent bar meals (a decent sized roast for about $13).

Free campsite, on the lake side.
About 40 mins to Christchurch. Beautiful place to relax, no bugs when we were there. Toilets and water. You can fish in the lake but need nets to get flounder, yellow eyed herring or eels.

Don't judge a book by its cover.
This place is very clean, has a good kitchen and living room. It could be quite small if there are a lot of people here. The bathrooms were immaculate with hot showers. Cost was $28 for two non powered. Powered was an extra $2. Wifi was an extra $2, unlimited they just ask you don't abuse it. Television, oven, really friendly owners.

Great facilities.
Toilets and showers, clean and hot! Quite expensive $18 per person (non powered site). Would suggest going to the beach end of the site (go in and turn right), beautiful view. Very big site. Kitchen and eating space could be bigger during busy periods but still plenty of space. Laundry facilities as well!

Very beautiful resort.
Right on Waipu cove beach, big waves and a lovely sandy beach. A little shop nearby and cafe/restaurant. The camp itself is very clean, with all the modern facilities. Downside is that it is rather expensive $38 for two (non-powered). And you have to pay for a hot shower!

Good for what it is.
$6 a night per person, cold showers. Advised to treat water from taps. There's walking, fishing, glow worms and bike tracks. Up a winding hill about 15km north from Blenheim.

Beautiful spot, good as an overnight stop.
Bring everything you need as it's quite a drive to a shop. $6 per person per night, flushing toilets, water (needs treating), no shower but a cubicle that you can take a bucket into!
