Pros: cheapest place around Queenstown, unlimited really hot showers, kitchen and lounge area and a close location to the city.
Cons: very dirty facilities in "containers", people partying loudly in the lounge, food got stolen from fridge, not really enough space for that many people (even in May!), not well maintained generally.
Conclusion: it would be a very nice place if it would be taken more care of it, only solution in that price range close to city though, so would probably stay again.

Took us two hours to get up, we arrived exhausted as especially the beginning is really steep but was definitely worth it!
Stunning views from the Summit! Bring your big jackets though, very windy and cold up there!

Nice place with the big plus of the free hot pool for cold days!!
Kitchen spacious and clean. Receptionists friendly. It was quite crowded as all the tour busses stop there, party - hostel - atmosphere even on a Monday. Shared mixed bathrooms with inconsistent water temperature. Worth its price but a few things to improve.

One of the best unpowered spots we've camped at so far!
River next to you, opportunities to make a fire, flushing toilets, anything you need. Showers available at the hotel for four dollars (donation for campground says should be minimum five dollars, considering how cheap that is, absolutely reasonable price for shower).
Would stay again!

Very nice place, almost completely empty at the end of April.
We had breakfast with the ducks and had access to clean facilities and a beautiful view. Very reasonable price. The road quite tricky for campervans, but it's worth it!
