I ran all the way up and down, about 2 hours 40 mins in total.

The first part is a hard slog up a quite dull, consistently steep 4WD track. After that the track becomes much better, with variations in steepness. The best part of the track is from the hut to the summit, which is about the final third. Views are astounding in all directions. Well worth the effort.
