Perfect organisation, very professional, very friendly and helpful, funny.
Unfortunately we saw the seals just for seconds and only one time but anyway, its nature and its ok. We had a nice trip.

Clean and with cold showers and kitchen facilities.
6$/p for a unpowered site fair price. Next to the lake and some nice walking treks. You have to book and pay your place at doc office in St Arnaud.

Very clean and modern bathroom!
Bit small kitchen, but great bbq area. Overpriced, 77nz for a cabin/2pax - even very clean and comfortable - but everything in Te Anau is overpriced... we really enjoyed our stay.

10 points for the dive center.
Perfect organisation, friendly, efficient and professional. Always with a smile.
6 points for the dives. For me it was less for the money. ( 260$ for 2 dives incl. Equipment) I read a lot about the diving places and I expected more from the places. The landscape is very nice.

Very nice views and an easy 4.5h walk for the crossing.
The summit is also very nice! A short part gravel road the rest is a very easy, well maintained walking trek.
In the end is the only part with shadow, so start early in the morning and bring a lot of water.

Helpful and friendly staff.
We organised the transport to the crossing with them (35$p). Everything perfect, nice drivers.
Cabins are very small and not so clean. (60$/2 pax)
Kitchen is small and dirty (food in the fridge from september 2014). Our visit was in january 2014. Need a renovation and a deep cleaning day.
Toilets and showers are ok not very clean but ok.

On our first visit, a young lady told us, that there is only one walk in Queenstown...?
no maps, nothing, she told us, that we have to catch the gondola and then we could walk..... on our second visit, another lady gave us many informations, tips and maps from the area.

A must do when you are a bit crazy ;-))) its an exhausting climb up.
430 steps, gravel field, rock climbing and snow field.... But the feeling in the end is fantastic and the view from the top is great. Bring a lot of water and the right clothes, the weather can change very quickly. Good luck and have fun. Never give up!

Go out and do it.
Very nice views and funny evenings in the huts. We did it in 3 days start and end from in Te Anau. It is also possible to start/end in Rainbow Creek, the trek is a bit shorter then. But like every walk in NZ, well maintained and signed. Drinking water in every hut and the first day is the hardest!
