Really convenient site.
Far away from the main road (around 20 km) and a bit difficult to find it. At the end of the road that says Road with end. Powered site: $15 two people. $6 extra adult. Non powered site: $10 two people. $6 extra adult. Quiet spot with permanent tents. Nice people around. Clean toilets and showers cost $1 (2 people can take a shower). The Ocean is really close but swimming is not permitted.
Public BBQ for $1. Kitchen and lunch room perfect to prepare and eat your meals.

Stunning place with awesome views.
$10 pp. Toilets and kitchen shelter pretty clean.
20 min from Queenstown. Last 7 km dirt road. Plenty of spots. The beginning of different tracks. Good place to go by mountain bike. Extremely quiet and peaceful.
We drunk water from the tap.

Really odd site.
There are around 8 permanent caravans staying there. Other caravans are unattended and they look abandoned.
It's located between lake Alexandria and Lake Mc Gregor.
$5 pp
Toilets really dirty.
The spot is nice and quiet but just for one night.
Close to the road access for Mt John's Observatory. At 9am, when they open the Cafe you can use a really clean toilets.

One of the best sites I've ever been in NZ.

Different toilets and pretty clean. There is also a lunch room where you can make your own meals. Really convenient.
When I went there it was pretty busy but I could find a perfect spot for my van.
Most of the excursions start there.

Well, that spot is the parking for the visitors that go to the bungy jumping at the Old Bridge.
Obviously, at 5pm it's empty and until 7am it's pretty quiet and scary.
No toilets during the night but when the bungy complex opens they are amazing. There is a cafe too inside.
Convenient spot if you don't need to use a toilet and if you arrive late and only to stay overnight.
