Friendly staff, large campground but very quiet and incredibly clean.
Did not use kitchen/lounge but bathrooms were clean and showers were hot with great pressure. Walked to the creek to see glow worms at night, very neat! I have camped in many spots but this one is easily the nicest, cleanest spot! Would absolutely stay here again!

Arrived in the dark, owners were very helpful and kind, walked us to our site.
Site was right by washrooms which wasn't an issue for us. Kitchen and washroom very tidy and 2m hedges around our site offers a lot of privacy. Quiet park to stay at this time of year and would visit again if visiting Christchurch!

Friendly staff, quiet park (we were only short term visitors that night, so all facilities were used only by us).
Kitchen and dining room are large and very tidy, washrooms clean. Beautiful scenery in the morning. Rained overnight so site was a little muddy but not a big problem at all. Would have loved to stay here longer, very peaceful spot.

Arrived here late, called ahead and arranged with owners to stay the night and pay in the morning.
Facilities were new and tidy, lots of sites to choose from: gravel as well as grass. Lovely staff and quiet park near town.

Nice place, only ones there at this time of year.
Pond was frozen, beautiful location. Long drop toilet, bring toilet paper if going to use it. Good facilities 2km away at Lake Pukaki Information Centre anyways.

Reasonably priced place to stay.
Showers are $1 for 6 minutes, cold in bathroom this time of year. Did laundry while here but did not use kitchen as no need. Fed the eels and ducks in the morning on the creek. Pretty good place to stay overall.

Neat little place with incredibly friendly owner!
Arrived late after office was closed but owner gladly helped us out. Facilities were clean and tidy with fresh bread in the morning. Railway theme is incredible! Definitely my favourite place to stay and would stay here again!

Close to town, generally quiet.
Great facilities, only downside is showers spray everywhere so watch your shoes and clothes so they don't get wet. Friendly staff, always kept clean and tidy. Second time visiting this park and will definitely visit again.

Very quiet with nice views. Water tap and toilet on site, great place for a night stop.

Stayed here once for New Years and again now.
Enjoyed this place much more the second time around. Washroom had automatic heater when you enter, keeps facilities nice and warm while showering and getting ready. Second block of washrooms closed for winter season but not as busy this time of year anyways. Hot tub still open but didn't use it. Discount prices this time of year $34 plus $16 for additional adult for powered camper spot. Will stay here again in future, friendly staff.
