The Manukau Holiday Park is the best place to start or end your journey of New Zealand!

The Park is not to big and not to small. One of the best things is, that the not only the big campervans and the people with the big money are wanted. As a low budget traveller, with tent, or a sleeper van you are as well warm welcomed here. Good is also that those are not pressed in the far end of the campground. They are right in the middle and close to the kitchen and amenity block. The kitchen is not only a kitchen, but a real meeting point of the whole camp. Even better are the two big wooden tables outsite the kitchen, where travelers can talk about their journeys. The airport is not far away, there is a shopping centre near by so you can stock up for your trip. If you have leftovers, just leave them in the kitchen for others to take. Close to the camp is the AKL Botanical Garden, well worth a visit and when you want to go into the city, you have the motorway close by. If you don't want to drive there take the bus. Station is right across the road. But the best about this camp are the always helpful and friendly people who work there!

The camp might not be a Top 10 campground anymore, but it is devinitly one of the top 10 campgrounds in New Zealand!
