We were a group of four and had a great time on the Wanderer.
The accomodation was quad bunk style so that suited our needs and budget as the other boat the Marnier is 3 times the price of this boat, and you see the same scenery from both boats. The staff were very friendly and informative and joked around with us making us feel very welcome. I would reccommend this trip to anyone who comes to the sound it is great value and the scenery is breathtaking.

We had a great time doing this activity.
Unfortunately the flight was over before we knew it, mainly because of the beautiful scenery being viewed outside. The Siberia valley we landed in was breathtaking, so pristine we were expecting a dinosaur to come out from the undergrowth any minute. The walk back was spectacular with many things to see. The Wilkin Valley is also beautiful where you meet the jetboat, unfortunately i only had time to grap a few mouthfuls of lunch before being flung around in the jetboat, which was great. TIP have lunch when you get back to base, you will enjoy the trip better. Hopefully for others it will not get much more expensive than the NZD$310 each which we paid, which is a bit pricey for a plane ride and jet boat. Overall the whole experience was brilliant and something i will allways treasure.

We were a group of 4 (2 couples) in our 40's and because it suited our schedule to do the rafting we stayed for two nights in the two double rooms (only NZD$48 per night share facilities).
What a brilliant decision of mine to do the rafting trip and stay there. The place is in a beautiful location, we used the facilities to cook our own bbq and had drinks with people from all over the planet and varying age groups, everyone was there for a good time. The rafting trip was amazing we are still talking about it now and looking at the photo's at home still feeling the buzz. I said to my wife i would do that trip right now again if i could, it was that good. PS anyone concerned about safety shouldn't the guides are very professional and put you at ease with their safety drills. Do yourselves a favour and go here and do this you will never forget it!!!!!!!!!
