Good location beside the river, though a fair way out of town.
Van sites by the river rather cramped. Good facilities. But our visit was spoiled because they had a large youth group (rowers?), who monopolised the kitchens and the social areas

OK site, spaces a bit cramped.
A pleasant, but not short, walk into town (15 minutes plus) - though not much to eat when you get there in the evening!

A great site if you want a quiet location close to town - walking distance.
Lots of space, some shade. Adequate facilities.

pleasant site, close to road, but no noise problem.
Clean well maintained facilities. Not close to Napier, but big bonus is the winery across the road (5 mins walk) which does superb food and wine (sadly only on lunchtimes and Friday evenings)

Good holiday site right on the beach (but with secure fencing), walking distance from town centre.
Not crowded, though quite noisy with children. One good toilet block, one rather primitive one.

Quiet site, well shaded, great location 2 minutes walk from the beach.
But facilities have seen better days - some power points, and lights in washrooms not working, No locks on doors in toilets. But the only site for miles around!
