Lady was very friendly, helpful and enthusiastic about the local walks which we wanted information on.
Glad we took her advice and didn't take the pram

this is a great track for biking, but just a few too many tree roots for me at the start to rate it higher, if there are sheep on the lower levels of the track be careful, speed and sheep dont mix

Great ride, that anyone can do gradual climb and some great scenery, and interesting flora where two mountain ranges meet.
followed by a nice downhill in the end. There are a whole lot of cool rides in this area, the fringe is also a real goody, but bit more full on

She can be pretty wild wouldn't recommend a swim, the rock pools are great at low tide

nice walk, but more of a climb, a very large amount of steps, great lookout point at top, can look over the waikato, firth of thames, coromandel ranges, out to the westcoat and even see mt Ruapehu on a
very clear crisp day

New Zealands premier MTB destination, 100's of kms of awesome riding, there is even a shuttle in weekends and school holidays, Billy T & split endz 2 of my favourites, there are maps on boards throughout
the forest but it pays to get your own if you want to really explore, I think they are only a couple of bucks. The national downhill is only for the brave.

no denying this is a very special walk, just try sort it so you don't walk against the flow of the traffic been dropped off to do day trips from the big boats

after 15 years in tourism, this is undoubhtably the most exciting operation i have seen, i have visted hot springs extensively throughout new zealand and japan(having a japanese wife) and this tops them
all, one mans dream and a labour of love over more than 17(?) years, which can been seen at every turn, perfection. this place has to be seen to be beleived, if you are going to the coromandel make sure you go here, if you are not planning on going to the coromandel i suggest you make a detour to go here, this should be one of your must do's in new zealand. this place deserves nothing but a 100% ranking, a 10 cant give it justice, this place is off the ricter scale. cheers guys awesome experience see ya again soon
