Was supposed to be a 5 hour walk but you can do it in less than that.
Mostly in the shade, good on hotter days. In the forest and you have to walk quite a bit until you have beautiful vies over the Sound. You have to pay around $75-$80 for transport to and from the track.

We got the information we needed (free campground, tracks) and they were friendly.
Compared to our holiday in Australia we feel people there (Australia) love to tell you more and love chatting to you more.

They are very friendly and also have employees there who speak other languages than english (different from day to day).
They helped us book our day trip to the Queen Charlotte track and all went very well. Paying with credit card costs $3.50 extra.
