well kept track, lovely bush and gorgeous medium size waterfall which splits into 2.
we took our 3 and 5 yr old and both managed very well. need to supervise children on walk due to sheer drops in places. picnic area with roof and basic toilets. we found it took 35min each way. there were a lot of stairs to climb. we went in july and the track was dry.

We went in off-season and had the place to ourselves.
were very impressed with the immaculate presentation, plenty of shelter from wind with lots of plantings, privacy plantings, great view, next to river (not suitable swimming for children). clean flush toilets. easy access and dry. give it a playground and it will be a 10!

a functional park-over spot just off sh1 near quite river.
a bit boggy, lots of traffic noise... road very close, and lots of people coming down after work to walk the dogs. wouldn't use the toilet. Easy access... a place to stay on the way but not to stay. free!
