If you are a glacier lover or if you have never seen ice, this is for you but for ice and snow accustomed europeans, the glacier, at least in summer, feels dirty and less impressive than expected.
The walk there is dusty and somewhat boring.

Our oldest had been eager to go fishing for weeks and it was easy, successful and provided a tasty lunch (hot smoked!).

No signs, but clearly stated on their website. Great location, with farm animals being walked past our site!

Little attention to details - toilet not very well cleaned, dishes and cutlery not the same for all, hoses too short.
Functionality okay though, depot good.

Yes it is a bit pricey, but the experience of >150 penguins (in Oamaru), walking 2 metres past us to their burrows was incredible.
If you can, pay extras for the premium tickets to be closest to the action.

We accidentally stumbled across this lovely petting zoo style farm that is also home to the Anatoki Eels - stunning 4 foot wild animals that have been fed here for 100 years!
The farm is really well maintained and run with care.
