Quite expensive - but then they all are, regardless of company.
A bit odd because the setting is very modern, but the dancing and food was great and we got to see a geyser explode. It is a large group though - maybe 100+ people.

FREE campground for up to two nights, clean toilet though there are no lights, do not drink the water - it is yellow.
Right next to the river with interesting local history signs.

Shown around by a guide with a free pint at the end. The Hobbit holes (fronts - you cannot go in) are adorable and they are full of bits of information about the making of the films.

Very helpful in booking the skydive but she did tell us the company provided a photo option for exiting the plane which it did not.
Had we known this we would have gone with someone else.

Good and cheap, van is a bit old so it guzzles petrol but they were cheaper than anything else we found.
Showed us how to use the van and did not push us at all when we said we did not want insurance.

It is a bit shabby but it is pretty cheap and you get to use the pool fed from the hot springs.
It is the closest campsite to Hobbiton as well which is handy.

Absolutely amazing, felt completely safe and the jump was fantastic, as always photos are expensive but we persuaded a lady with a photo package on our jump to have one taken and then emailed - much cheaper

Really lovely to walk around - you can barely tell you are in the City, and there is a great view over the city and harbour from the top with some interesting signs.
