Good spot on the beach, mussels on rocks - delicious for dinner, facilities basic - just a toilet but free so expected.

Had various walks up on the walls on big maps, person advised us to walk up the neighbouring mountain as was a clear day and good views.

Great trip in helicopter to glacier, hiking on the glaciers was brilliant, guide was good, helicopter ride could be a little longer, but great day.

Amazing large rock formations on mountains, great to climb or just wander around for hours.
A brilliant sight to see.

The drive to Milford Sound, through a tunnel, around waterfalls is almost better than the paid boat cruise, jaw dropping scenery.

Rated as a medium track, found difficult and dangerous, two large river crossings and lots of very slippery ricks on a steep incline, needs maintenance.
Caves incredible but dangerous.

Expensive, $40 for 2, non-powered campsite, facilities okay but not great for the money.
Good showers.
In this day and age, I can't imagine why you say that $20pp is expensive? You have a safe, warm dry place to park your van in the middle of a beautiful part of NZ. You have a well appointed kitchen, a laundry facility, a nice warm common building with TV and an on - site restaurant?
The facility cost me $4 million to build, just so you could have a place to park overnight for $20. Most camp grounds that charge just $20 per person will charge for showers and are very run down. We also give you free wifi, free DVD hire and we have a happy hour in the restaurant for our guests. The shower floors are tiled and they are hot like you said. That seems like a very small investment on your part?

Good operator, smaller boat than most, closer to the waterfalls and marine life including seals.
Best on a clear day, unfortunately ours was not.

Good value for money, however van is pretty old and does not run too well, everything inside, including fridge, microwave, toaster, sink all works well, just engine is slow.
