The park was great and nice.
Heated pool bounce pillow. The only downside was that it was expensive. We paided $48 two people power site. It's not over pricds as the facilities are clean just we have had the same experience elsewhere for less money.

Small and isolated.
We stayed in July for just one night and we were the only people there, apart from the owner who didn't seem that friendly. Facilities weren't that great or clean. On the plus side it was only $20 for a powered site. The pub down the road was really good. We met some great people in there!

Nice and simple we stayed here for 1 night and then moved round to the other free camp ground around the corner.
you can get to town quick enough for the spot as its not to far out the way but enough for it to be nice and peaceful at night.

Nice campground.
It was very windy and cold when we stayed in July. It was $19 per person per night for a powered site. Toilets and showers were free but not the cleanest. Laundry facilities were slightly expensive we think, most expensive we've seen up to now, at $4 for the washing machine and $4 for the dryer. The shop is also very expensive. The bar down the road (Tussocks Tavern) was ok too, with food that was reasonably priced.

Great site, Friendly staff.
Cheapest and most flexible wifi packages available. We paid $7 for 24hours/100GB access. Free hot showers too! $42 per night, but during the winter months if you pay for 2 nights up front you get the 3rd free. Heated pool and hot tub too! Right next to Lake Rotorua but no smell of sulphur! The only thing that some people might find an issue is that the camp ground is right near the airport and during the day there were some small planes taking off overhead. This is really not an issue though!

This was our first camp-site of our 1 year travels and we couldn't of picked a better place to stay.
The owners are really friendly aswell as their little girl.They made us very welcome. The camp grounds were spotless we even got ourselves a fire going. Would definitely recommend to anyone whose around the area travelling.
