Free to watch the seals in their natural habitat, sunbathing on the beach, not a big thing made of it.
Great experience being that close to nature.

Well marked circular, 1 1/2 hour walk with good views of Fox Glacier.
Go early for sunrise photos, cafe at the start and finish.

Very well marked walk, we did it at 7am and had a great trek to the top.
Steep in places but all on a path. Good 360 degree walk around the top - take your camera!!

Very good van and service at Christchurch and good demo of van before leaving.
However, comfy picnic chairs rather than plastic uncomfortable school chairs to sit in the sunshine would be better.

Very friendly owner and nice clean and tidy campsite, 2km walk to town.
Would have liked to stay longer to explore area, $26 for camper with power and 2 adults.

DOC campsite and $6 per person to stay.
Long drop toilet that was unclean and stank. Sandflies galore, my wife got bitten 30 times and she was covered in repellant.
