Take your own tent. Not many other people around when we went last January. A change from the Great Walk crowds. Plateau large and worth a visit.

Loved this.
We camped and cycled. The Clutha is large and it is wonderful to be so close to it. Quite different to the highways. Some old house and vehicles along the way.
