Tough initially up the 2,200 steps to Sealy Tarns, then really enjoyable scramble up to the hut.
Rewarded on the way down when the sun and Mount Cook came out.

Beautiful setting on shores of Lake Wakatipu, however it was extremely cramped and busy and a gentleman came up and asked us to move, very rudely as we were blocking a boat ramp despite there being no
signpost or indication to support we were.

Absolutely fantastic!!
Very accommodating when we had to rearrange due to van troubles. When we got round to doing it - brilliant day. The guide was great, really special experience. Lovely tea, coffee, soup and biscuits too!!

Went down approx 7-7.30pm.
The ranger was fantastic and suggested a rock for us to sit on, penguins walked past us about 3 metres away!! Great couple of hours!!
