Great little caravan park with lots of appeal.
We were in a camper, but were impressed with the rail carriage sleepers and the well equipped kitchen. Owner/managers were very helpful and approachable. Handy distance from Christchurch for leaving the next day.

Loved this trip.
Jason was an excellent guide and passionate about the natural environment. Loved the dogs which met us at each jetty and found the atmosphere at the Captain Cook beach peaceful and ancient. A most excellent afternoon.

Cruzy Campers

We thoroughly enjoyed our travel around South Island in our Cruzy Camper.
Nothing was a problem for Andrew, Jenny and Kylie even though we split our camping up by going on the Alps 2 Ocean Bike ride with friends in the middle week of our 3 week visit. Jenny met us at the end of the first week, dropped us to meet our friends, cleaned the camper and picked us up again at the end of the bike ride. Excellent service and the two separate weeks were treated as one hire. The camper was economical, never missed a beat even up some steep hills and was well fitted out. We spent most of the last week in heavy rain and we were warm, dry and cozy the whole time. Loved the inverter, the phone, the hot water, the sharp knives, the big coffee cups, the Hema map book and the free table and chairs. We camped out a lot at camp sites we found in the Hema map book and were impressed with the DOC's campsites we stayed at. The size of the van meant it was easy to drive and very easy to park. Excellent experience in a beautiful country.
