An overnight carpark with toilets and picnic tables.
Lots of motorhomes but a lot of space. The view in the morning is just amazing, you can see the Mount Rangitoto and the bay of Auckland.

My favourite spot in the south of the North Island.
The lighthouse and the cove and the beach are just awesome. A free overnight car park as well to enjoy the twilight and the sunset.

A nice loop track around the Island.
You can also walk until the summit where a lookout is waiting for you. Enjoy the 360 degree view of Motutapu Island, Auckland Bay and many other islands.

A very popular walk not so far from Wellington.
3 hours return but it is a very pleasant walk along the river and for all levels. Under the shades of the trees and very peaceful!

Come back in the past with this old way of transport.
Once you have reached the top you could enjoy the whole view of the Capital. Also it is the start of a nice walkway with a rose garden on the way.

The best way to cross from the North Island to the South Island.
The ferry boat has got a lot of space, free WIFI and above all there is a scenic view of the Sounds before the arrival in Picton.

An amazing view at the top of the tower.
360 degree panorama. It is really something to do if you come to Auckland. But it is a little expensive $18 per person, and can be crowded during the summer.

A modern i-Site with an informative movie broadcast on a big screen to promote the attractions of the region.
Very helpful staff. And an impressive interactive map of Mt Egmont, the most popular site!!

3 caves to discover the glowworms.
You just need a light and a good pair of shoes. The first cave is a little bit dangerous when you have water up to the abdomen.
