We rented a Koru 2 berth xl for a 30 day tour of both islands.
This was a 2005 VW based campervan with 352,000 miles. The unit was clean and in excellent condition. The pick-up went very smooth and was done professionally. The did a good walk through and answered my questions.
The first problem was a windscreen wiper blade that came loose. We called the service line and they tried to find someone to check it out. This was Saturday afternoon the result was understandable. I was able to find a socket and tighten down the arm so it didn't move on the shaft (i'm a mechanic by trade)
A couple of week later we caught a rock in the windscreen (from a logging truck) on the way to Taupo. We called the service line and Wendekreisen set up an appoint in Taupo. After a couple of phone calls there was no windscreen available in Taupo. Our next stop was Rotorura. Peter had a windscreen sent to Rotorura from Auckland along with a new windscreen wiper arm for installation the next day. All the planning went very smoothly and within a couple hours we were on the road again.
The remainder of the trip went smoothly and so did the turn-in in Auckland. Although the van had a lot of miles, it performed as I expected it would. The diesel did well on fuel, better than advertised.
Wendekreisen has their act together. Customer service and support was excellent. I would highly recommend there services

The drive to the park is an experience.
The sites are on the small side, but big enough for a 6.5 meter camper van. The park was clean, the showers were hot, the Wifi was a bit weak. The owners were very helpful and friendly. The park was about a 20 minute drive to the Royal Albatross center -- well worth the trip. If you have a car Highcliff road is ok, I would not recommend it with a camper van of any size. Whenb the work is done on Portobello road it will be fine

Out side of the town in in St Kilda this was easy to use.
It was clean, the sites were large, they had a good laundry, There was take out food store on site, and the local bus stops right out in front. It made for easy access to central Dunedin and many attractions. The people were extremely friendly and helpful

The camp was neat and clean, The showers were hot.
The management was extremely friendly. They have a hot tub at extra cost that was excellent and worth the $15. There is also the free glow worm dell across the road, another plus

This holiday park was excellent.
The camp store had good food and coffee. The shower was one of cleanest so far on our trip. They have collection of license plates from all over the world, I'm going to send them one they don't have. The camp sites were large and clean.

Mark provided an excellent ride.
I had an injury to my arm and shoulder and he was able to "adjust" the ride as to prevent further injury and not disappoint the other riders. We also had a bit of discussion about the boats power plant. Mark also provided a wealth of information on the Buller River Getting to the boat dock requires going over the swinging bridge. I made for a great experience.

The camp was clean and neat.
The showers had plenty of hot water. They had 2 washers, one dryer, and two close lines. They could use another dryer that worked better than the existing one. The owner ask how the laundry was going, I said it was slow and he put in an extra token to the two I had put in., Good on him
