We -6 people- hired a sailing boat in Picton and spent 3 nights on the Queen Charlotte Sound.
We saw dolphins and caught some nice fish. I was a really nice trip.

Joe and Tony, the camp owners, are really nice, helpful and lovely.
We were surprised about the clean facilities, because it was really cheap $130 per week for 2 people. Showers, pool and kitchen.

We spent a beautiful lazy day at the beach ( sometimes you can see Stingrays there), and we saw a little penguin.

Next to the beach where you have a view 30 km from Nelson.
Cold showers, flushing toilets. There are heaps of fireplaces and lakes-you can drink the water. Fires on the beach allowed. $6 per person.
