Wanting a very crusie relaxing experience for all the family or a more youthful active adventure, try this.
We did the ezi 5hr paddle. Took my mother (76yrs) & her 8 friends (12yr to 85yr) for a 5hr trip to see the great white cliffs & boulders. Our lunch break along the river was supplied at the perfectly rounded boulders in a forest that was an easy walking distance from the river. These boulders are 2 times larger than the Moeraki Boulders, down in North Otago. Me, being a double leg amputee I found this trip very accessible. There are plenty of other types of rafting options that you can experience with these guys, from extreme rafting/kayaking to an ezi paddling adventure. They cover all the bases. Their toasted sandwiches back at base, rock! Accomodation we stayed in the night before, was at the Loghouse in Mangaweka. There are options where you can stay at the very scenic motor camp down by the river(cabins/tent sites). ENJOY!

Brilliant experience.
Brent can pace the experience to your liking. He is not a numbers game operator, but an operator who wishes to enjoy the experience himself too. Our trp up the river, then the walk to The Bridge To Nowhere was surreal! The coffee & yummy apricot loaf at the bridge that he carries up in his backpack was divine. Even a disabled person as myself (double leg amputee) found the 40min walk to the bridge not that difficult. Ask any question about the river and he will answer to the best of his knowledge. May the Orange boat (waka) live on!
