Ian took us on an amazing trip into the bush in Okarito on March 11th, 2014.

After a short introduction of how to behave during the tour, we sneeked through the night for a couple of hours. During that time we experienced probably the most remarkable event of our whole New Zealand trip, that was catching sight (even three times) of a kiwi in its natural habitat. The kiwi (it's been Joline, right?) stood directly in front of us, what we never had expected to see!!
