Beautiful waterfall in a stunning rain-forest.
A short easy walk with children too.

Stunning!
one side waves are crashing, there are fossilised forests and penguins, and on the other side, a gorgeous sandy beach with dolphins. We had to stay an extra night !

I did a tanden ride with my 5 year old son.
It was lots of fun-he had the biggest smile. I did think $45 for the two of us to have 30 seconds of fun was a bit steep !

Great facilities, but very expensive and a steep walk into town.
We thank you for your comments. Our prices are compareable with other Holiday Parks in the South Island. We are situated on a hill offering fantastic views over Akaroa and therefore the walk back up from the town is unfortunately steep.

Lots of fun.
Our 3 and 5 year old sons were running around in excitement for a solid 4 hours. The steam train and the hollogram movie and glow in the dark rocks were a real highlight.

The best walk I have done in New Zealand.
We only walked to the waterfall, but had so much fun walking through tunnels looking at railway artefacts, going over bridges and admiring the the absolutely stunning scenery,
