Totally agree with the first post on here.
Also created this account just to spread the word on how bad this company is actually run and their disgraceful policies. We arranged to rent a car via a third party website which was fully prepaid at the time of booking. When we arrived at Letz, we were told the third party company had not informed them of the booking so we were given a Toyota Yaris that had no power and problems with acceleration. When I called to inform them that there was something wrong with the car, the 'manager' (as stated on his business card) said he would have the car we had actually paid for (Toyota Corolla) would be in the next day and that we could swap it. Called the next day to see if the car was in and the same guy said it had been booked out by the manager as he was on the phone to me. Was promised another car the following day. As we went to swap the Yaris for the Corolla, he was not in the office and we had to collect the keys from the hotel reception. Same situation when we dropped the car off, he wasn't in the office. Terrible service, and a manager that cannot tackle a problem head on?? Spend the extra and go with a more reputable company.
Dear Emma, it certainly doesn't sound like you experienced great service from Letz. Thankfully the company is under new ownership and management this year (2015) and this type of service will be in the past. We are only a small company so sometimes our office is not manned but we now actively communicate with our customers to ensure that pick up and drop off times are managed to their satisfaction. If you are ever in Auckland in the future we would love it if you would like to experience the new level of service that Letz is offering our customers.
