stopped here on our way to Christchurch to drop off our campervan the next day.
Really convenient as you can check in at 1pm so we sorted out the van all day. Really friendly staff, clean facilities and mini golf to play for free!

Stayed here and then did the bungee in the morning-just a carpark but cool that they let you stay here for free.

clean toilets but very loud in the night, struggled to sleep.
Also the atmosphere wasn't very friendly, hard to describe why but it wasn't super pleasant to be in. bearable considering its free.

really nice, didn't use the toilets but they looked pretty standard, nice secluded areas.

Toilets not amazing but what do you expect from a free camp.

A little hard to find (we arrived after dark) but I'm sure during the day it would be fine.
Nice views, toilets were okay but no toilet paper.

stopped in the middle of the night to stay, spoke to a lady immediately who told us we could stay there, but then about 3 hours later a second woman knocked on the door and shouted 'DO YOU HAVE A TOILET
'. It shouldn't matter whether we have a toilet if its the middle of the night and we're clearly not going to go to the toilet before morning. There's a cafe across the road with toilets anyway.
