You get value for money.
We rented something cheap (crocket) so we got an old but functional vehicle. Not happy you had to block $3000 on your credit card for a deposit.

When choosing Standard Insurance, a $3000 bond is required. This not charged but frozen throughout your hire. Sufficient funds must be available.
