Jones Landing is a quiet place, with a beautiful outlook over Lake Arapuni and on the other side is Bulmers Landing.

The day I was there the weather started out beautiful, the southerly that kicked up in the afternoon was quite cool. I launched my Minicat successfully and had a lovely sail.

The gates are locked in the evening and you must be self contained to stay overnight. They come down and check before locking you in for the night and there is no length of stay restrictions on that side of the lake.

The beach looked safe for swimming and children though there was a bit of weed further out.

There is a nice clean toilet block and large rubbish bins.

A lovely quiet night by myself.

Due to the lack of rain in the area for some months it was pretty dry and dusty especially with the wind but well worth the visit.

There are some walks and bike tracks nearby as well, but didn't get to try them out, will save them for next time.

Overall a beautiful place to stay.
