Not cheap, but worth the money!
Modern ship, friendly crew, many usefull informations about the whales and dolphins during the trip. We saw two sperm whales, many dusky dolphins and Hector's dolphins, albatrosses.
Despite of good weather and only 1 metre waves some passengers got seasick. In advance there was a seasick warning at the office. Passengers should take these warnings seriously.
All around a wonderful experience for us we don't like to miss!
Thanks for the great feedback Yasmin, and the tip in regards to seasickness warnings that are given at the time of check in. We hope the rest of your travels were just as successful.

From start to end a perfect service.
Even when one interislander ferry crashed wilderness motorhomes provided us with a ticket of the bluebridge ferry at our desired date.
We had a very warm welcome at the Auckland airport and a thorough instruction for the campervan (Base Jumper 2) at the base. The campervan was clean and in very good condition. All equipment worked without any problems. The GPS was a big help. We enjoyed the possibility to stay overnight at special places outside any compground due to the self contained campervan. The hired BBQ was brand-new. We had no problems at all with the campervan during our more than 3 weeks trip. The welcome at the Christchurch base was also very hearty.
All around a perfect trip to wonderful places in N.Z.
Thanks to the Wilderness Team!
We recommend Wilderness Motorhomes without any restraints.

We had booked the day trip around the Bay of Islands.
Well organized, beautiful ship, friendly crew, tasty food (both the scones and the lunch), wonderful trip, a stop at Roberton Island, good weather - all around a perfect day!
Amazing dialect of Dave, the skipper. We had a lot of fun!
