Very friendly owners, $10 fee, including wi-fi.
Close to Nugget Point, Cannibal Bay. No facilities - just a toilet. For extra money you can take a shower or buy a meal.
you will not find cheaper than us even now we have at to increase our prices to $10pp you probably used more than $5 in WiFi and there is a sheltered deck for people to sit and cook on if they wish plus all our food prices is kept very low to help people not rob them and a dining room if your eating our food our Tea Coffee $2 plus

OK campground but the kitchen is way too small - it was very crowded when we were there.
Facilities (showers and kitchen) could use a bit more cleaning.

Although this a a very big motor-camp, it was one of the best campground we had in our whole trip.
Very close to the beach. You can walk to Cathedral Cove. Facilities are super clean. Very friendly staff.

Extremely clean facilities.
Super friendly owner. Kitchen has dishes/everything you need. 700m walk from a very cool beach, all made of stones.

Cheapest campground in Queenstown.
Friendly staff. Nice commune areas (inside and outside). Facilities, especially the kitchen, could use more than 1 cleaning per day - it was dirty when we were there.
Q Box could be a truly amazing spot if a little more love was put in.

We "tried" to stay at Solscape but we couldn't put hammocks in the trees (they're protected).
One of the guys drove us to a nearby campground and left us there - but there were no trees at all at that place.
We did not stay at Solscape but we went there everyday for 8 days to rent surfboards and wetsuits.
Surf lesson with Andy was awesome, well worth 85$. The following days we came in to rent gear (10$ discount if you had a lesson - 25$ instead of 35$ for half a day, which is super cheap). Some of the days, renting the gear was easy. Some other days, it became somehow difficult/impossible : lost the keys of the "surf shack", lack of boards, etc.

Very big campground next to the beach and super close to Raglan center (only a walking bridge to cross).
OK facilities - one kitchen is way nicer than the other.
We stayed there for 8 nights during the busy season. Although the campground was full, they closed the restrooms and the kitchen 2 times a day for cleaning : at 11AM and 6PM. Was that inconvenient? Yes.
I think the staff is using an old booking system because they seemed confused every time I went to pay for the night. They even lost track and forgot to record one credit card payment. Keep your receipts!!
