The park is located just 10 minutes north of Queenstown just up the road from the shotover jet tours.
The park itself is nice and it was only the weather that prevented us from fully enjoying our time there. We had a powered tent site under some very large trees which were extremely noisy throughout the night due to the wind. The park was clean and modern however the toilets are quite small and could be uncomfortable for larger people.

Really enjoyed staying here as we had a choice of sites which were very spacious and from what we could see all the sites in the park were very roomy.
This is a simple clean site and although they were rebuilding the kitchen and bathrooms the temporary facilities where very good. It was 15 minutes drive from the CBD and very quiet. This park also has access to the beach also though we did not visit the because because of the weather I would imagine it would have been nice to visit. Would definitely stay here again.

This is a lovely simple holiday park and the owners Keith & Joy are fantastic hosts providing great information and recommendations of local attractions and activities.
The park in general is a little tired and the bathrooms could do with modernisation but if you are looking for basic clean park in a rural setting this is nice. In its day the farm would have been great for kids to see and interact the animals but unfortunately many of the animals are gone however we still were able to see Llamas, Peacocks, Possums, Sheep, Deer and at dusk at the back of the park Wallabies roam wild in the forrest. We stayed in a one of the two cabins available and found this very comfortable and if we had used our tents the powered and non-powered sites looked very spacious.

Dunedin is very limited with number of parks available and this park is okay but not a place we would stay for any long period of time.
It was clean and the kitchen and bathrooms okay. Although this park is not in the city centre and close to the beach it felt like you where in the city as the powered tent sites looked directly out at a row of tourist flats and asphalt. It’s location made it easy to get in to the city and out to other locations around Dunedin.
Thank you for leaving this review.
Our staff really do try to go above and beyond to ensure all of our guests have a fantastic stay with us, so we appreciate your kind words. We have quite a variety of space for power sites and we always try to accommodate to guest's request on their preferred site.
We look forward to seeing you again!

We got two rooms here, one double and another room with 2 single beds.
There is not much to do in Haast but at the end of a long drive this place is simple, clean and tidy. The showers are okay but you only get tokens for 5min showers. Both the kitchen and shared area is large welcoming.

We stayed there for one night on a powered tent site.
Friendly staff and a very clean modern showers and toilets. The pool and hot tubs are great and the location is handy to the town center. Only negative was the size of the powered site we had, the size was good for a camper van but we could only fit our tent and car in the space we had available. I walked around the rest of the park and noticed that if you have a tent and wanted a little more space then you would have to go with a non-powered site, but even these were on the smaller side. Would stay here again only if we where in a camper van.
