First night campsite ever in a motorhome.
Helpful owner, level pitch (rare we later found), no view but easy walk to the beach. Quiet. $42 for two people, good shower and toilets.

This is motorhoming up a mountain.
Large flattish car park 2 minutes from the ski resort on the Mount Ruapehu, volcanic landscape, raw, isolated, breathtaking sky and views. Nothing there! Not for people who do not want to be totally alone.

Good reception and friendly informative walk around the vehicle.
Forgot to tell us to change the gas supply. Good 24 hr backup when we needed to ask about the gas!!! 2 and a half years old and showing slight wear and tear. Drives well though.

Really friendly and helpful staff member who booked our Cook Strait ferry and told us something about the area.
Like all i-Sites we visited, ample leaflets and information about local attractions, paid and free.
