Such a beautiful spot for a night.
Spacious, cheap ($6) and scenic. Not too far off the main rd and well worth it for a quiet night by the river

One of my favourite campsites on our trip!!
Such an amazing location with mountain views and various walking tracks at your door. So cheap ($10 pp) for such a place. Beautiful drive along lake Pukaki to get there! Highly recommended!!

This is a great campsite in the centre of town.
Grass sites, big kitchen and living spaces, friendly staff (who will give you vouchers for a free drink at one of the town's restaurants), laundry, access to wifi (if you pay), good bathrooms. Recommended!

I was worried about this place because of some of the reviews but it was fine!
Staff must have improved because they were friendly enough. Beautiful location on top of the hill overlooking the bay. Grass sites, large kitchen, bathrooms a little sad as others had said but it wasn't that bad. Recommended :-)

A great functional campsite with good facilities!
Not quite on the lake but only a short walk.

What an amazing location!!
If you can get a spot right on the lake as we did it is so lovely to wake up to the view. Watch out for the sandflies though. We could barely leave the van!

We were lucky to get a nice spot next to the river but wouldn't have enjoyed our experience here as much if we were on one of the car park spots.
Nice common room to get warm in, good big kitchen and OK bathrooms. The most expensive campsite we stayed in but there is nothing else around and is great to stay to get up early for a kayak in the fiord!
