Friendly welcome, great location.
Private tent sites, plenty of spaces to choose from and reasonably level, quiet and well positioned for a trip up to Mount Cook National Park.

Excellent views, outstanding landscape.
Avoid the crowds, go up at the buttcrack of dawn or head up before sunset when it's nice and quiet. Don't stomp around on the vegetation, take lots of photos :)

Pales in comparison to similar places around the world on a larger scale, but worth a visit, still very unique, explore as many ravines as you can!

Crowded during the day, great 360 views but there is a slight boring factor, lots of hipsters with low grade dslrs getting around getting in your way hogging the good spots, shooing peoples children away
...
Night time would be the best time to visit, view the stars, and maybe witness the Southern Lights :)

Easy walk, the lake itself isn't all that pretty if there is a breeze but it's a peaceful spot to go by.
Sheep grazing in the paddocks near the start of the Caples track needed to be dagged/crutched BIG time, flystrike galore!... guess the cockies in the area like seeing their animals backsides being eaten by maggots...
However don't let that put you off of course :P Have fun on the swingbridges and many hidden pooled spots along the Greenstone river.

Nice, but don't bother with the lookout 5/10, if you want to get up closer - follow the river for a decent view!

A beautiful series of waterfalls!!!
The lowest being the easiest to get to. Also, it's not Shepherds Hut Creek as so many douchebags claim it to be. Check the official NZTopo maps etc, this waterfall is Lake Face Creek, Shepherds Hut Creek is a few metres up the road... There's so much misinformation out there about different areas in NZ put across by these chump tourists that come here and think they know everything then spread the word, and sure enough everyone else follows suit. If you're that enthused about NZ then surely you'd want to make sure you're not all full of shit.

Steep, rugged, intrepid, worth the effort!
Go prepared for changes in weather though as Marian creek can turn from a creek to a raging torrent.
A brilliant spot to pitch your tent overnight for a nice sunrise, or on a hot day (in Fiordland.. lol) be sure to dip your toes in the water or if you're game enough... have a swim!
