Come as a stranger - leave as a friend.
What a treat to stay at this place. Yes, it is basic but hey, for $10/night what do you expect? Just the welcome is worth $20! Very, very friendly host that goes out of his way to make us feel comfortable and at home. Great pizza for diner and awesome breakfast for almost nothing! Kevin - thank you! This is a great little spot with nice view of the surrounding hills and soft grass to pitch your tent. Great little outdoor kitchen, awesome showers for just $2, free high speed wifi, pet animals, spotless toilets and heaps of advise on the surroundings and even where to stay next. We stayed at the great little Moeraki Boulders Holiday Park further north and were told to come here. Would not have missed it. Probably the best two camp sites we visited in our one year journey through NZ!
Keep up the good work folks - we will be back for sure.
WoW thank you so much for your kind words we do try and look after people and do send a lot to Moeraki Boulders Holiday Park they often email me saying what a great time they have had
Its wright on the beach next to the Moeraki Boulders and of cause there FREE to see many thanks again Kevin

Great little camp in Timaru.
Just stayed on a powered site for couple of days. Owners were very friendly and gave us plenty of information on things to do around the area. Very tidy, great showers. Awesome experience. Looking forward to come back soon.

Great little camp in a secluded location.
Geoff, the owner, is a goldmine of information about the region. Was very clean on our visit, so do not understand the previous comments on this site. Shower newly upgraded and very good. Great camp kitchen with deck to sit outside. Butterfly house part of the camp is awesome and well worth a visit. Go for a walk to the hidden waterfall... GREAT. Thanks heaps to Geoff.
