I went on a full day Auckland Tour with TIME Unlimited.
It was a great experience. I only had 2 days in Auckland and initially thought it's "just another city". After this tour I realise why it's been voted one of the top places in the world to live! Great tour, amazing scenery, a passionate guide, really awesome food - and I loved especially the bush walk and seeing the famous Silver Fern for the first time. I'm really happy to have done this tour.

Very fake, your classical "dress up the natives and let them dance for money" show....
I believe it's owned by locan Maori and it's disappointing that this is the impression they want to give of their culture... BIG business, busloads of tourists...

Glass Bottom Boat

Not a good experience.
We were just bums on seats for them. Some nice fish and a nice place. Seemed like a husband and wife team - he steered the boat and she took the money at the start and neither was very friendly. They seem to have it made, the only operator in a popular tourist area and they don't need to make any effort to get their bums on seats. Disappointing!

A very interesting museum - stunning displasy and very informative.
I suggest going there BEFORE seeing the large Kauri in Waipoua Forest.

Overall it was a great trip.
LOTS of people on teh water, so it's big business but despite this, they were great guides that loved their job and made me have a great time. Recommended.
