To see NZ native flora and fauna, like Kiwi and Keas, and native trout , Rainbow Springs is a great experience.
The enclosures are lovely and don't feel like a prison for the animals. I liked the organic garden they have too, adnd that they recycle, not just rubbish but organic waste and building materials too! Well worth while ....

a fascinating experience and the organic orchard is so well cared for. A really interesting look at NZ farming experience....

They also have a great emphasis on sustainability. They also educate as well as entertain !
